- How can I apply?
You may apply online or manually. Online applications will require access to the internet and a valid email account for both the student and Guarantor/Co-Applicant. If you or your Guarantor/Co-Applicant does not have easy access to the internet or an email account you can apply manually. To learn more visit the Apply Now page.
- What are the benefits of living at College Suites?
College Suites is a new student housing community that offers convenience, security, and amenities. When you live at College Suites you’ll be just steps from your classes. You’ll save on gas. All your utilities, cable, internet, (both wired and Wi-Fi) are included.
- How can I change my apartment and/or bedroom assignment?
You can type up a written request to change rooms and will be placed on a waiting list. If a room in your requested apartment opens up, you will then be placed if all other roommates approve.
- Will financial aid cover my housing?
The first step in finding out if financial aid will cover your housing cost is to apply by completing the FAFSA form and submitting it as soon as possible.
- Are pets allowed at College Suites?
Pets are not allowed.
- Who will clean my apartment?
Residents are responsible for providing cleaning supplies, as well as keeping the apartment and their bedroom clean.
- What should I bring?
All apartments are completely furnished. Each bedroom comes equipped with a standard twin XL mattress with a bed frame, desk, desk chair, dresser, and window blinds. You should bring personal items such as bed linens, towels, cooking utensils, iron, alarm clock, computer, etc…
- What is the housing payment schedule?
College Suites offers a variety of payment plans, please contact the site to discuss which plan is best for you!
- Is my deposit refundable?
The deposit/administrative fee is $275, $200 of which is refundable. You must submit a request in writing to be considered for a refund. The deposit fee shall be refunded in full to the resident if the application is not approved. Please note that the $75 administrative fee is not refundable.
- What is the next step after I submit my application and deposit?
If you went through the online application a Background Check will be conducted on you and a Credit Check will be conducted on you Guarantor/Co-Applicant. If approved you will be provided a Student Housing License Agreement and Resident Profile form to be completed and returned to us.
If you submit an application manually, you will receive a Background Check and Credit Check Application. The student must fill out the background check portion and their guarantor must fill out the credit check portion. In addition, a Student Housing License Agreement and the Resident Profile form must be completed returned to us.
- What does the apartment include?
All units feature wireless internet access, cable, fully furnished living rooms and bedrooms, fully applianced kitchens, and spacious bathrooms. Heat, hot water, air conditioning, and electricity are also included in the rental cost.
- Can I choose the people I room with?
Yes. You, as well as your selected roommates, will need to mutually request each other on the Resident Profile form. If you do not request roommates, you will be assigned to an apartment based on the information provided on the Resident Profile form.
- Is there telephone service available in the suites?
The capability to have landline access is available in each suite, though the service must be ordered outside of your agreement with College Suites.
- Is there internet access available in the student bedrooms?
Yes. All bedrooms have wireless internet access. Wireless internet is provided throughout College Suites.
- What is my room assignment? When will I receive it?
Room assignments are made by College Suites over the summer and a final confirmation letter of your assignment will be emailed to you a few weeks before the start of the semester. This confirmation includes information regarding which suite and bedroom you will be living in and the names of your roommates.
- Can I contact my roommate before I move in?
You will receive roommate information as part of your confirmation letter. This letter will also indicate your scheduled move-in date and room assignment. If authorized, feel free to write your roommate(s) before you arrive. It is our policy to not share telephone numbers or permanent addresses.
